Solar Imaging Session - June 16, 2016

The sky in the afternoon is clear and seeing condition is fair. I was able to get a quick snap shot of the Sun in Ha wavelength. AR2553 Sunspot Group looks promising but due to hectic schedule, I wasn't able to image it in white light close up :( Anyway, Lots of solar activity inside AR2553 Sunspot Group as well as its surrounding. There is also a nice large eruptive prominence in the NE limb.

Solar Imaging Session - June 6, 2016 (Blank Sun)

The sky this lunchtime is hazy and seeing condition is poor. This is the second day that I got to observe the Sun without any sunspot groups visible on the Sun's disk. I wasn't able to image in Ha wavelength as it got cloudy after I took this shot.
