Comet Imaging Session - February 7, 2023
The sky in the evening is partly clear but with a Full Moon phase :( Since I wasn't able to capture this comet earlier due to mount problems amd bad weather, I use this opportunity to quickly setup my telescope to try to image the departing Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF. It was located a few degrees north of bright star Capella. I use a ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera with Borg 76ED Refractor mounted on a Vixen GPDX mount to capture the comet. Total exposure of 10 minutes was made at unity gain and -5 deg C.

Solar Imaging Session - January 9, 2023
The sky this afternoon is very cloudy but seeing condition is fair. This is my 1st solar imaging session for 2023. I was only able to image large AR3182 and AR3181 Sunspot Groups before getting clouded out again. This is also my 1st time to use ZWO ASI290mm webcam to replace my old trusty ASI120MM webcam which has serve me well for many years. A good astro friend of mine gifted me with this astro camera so that I can get even better solar results in the days to come and it will become my new workhorse astro camera for imaging the Sun, Moon and occasionally planets

Lunar Imaging Session - January 8, 2023
The sky this evening is partly clear but seeing condition is poor. I tested the ZWO ASI290MM webcam again on the Moon with TV 2.5x Powermate for some moderate closeup images of Mare Crisium and Tycho Crater Region.

Lunar Imaging Session - January 7, 2023
The sky this evening is partly clear and I was able to do a first light on the ZWO ASI290MM webcam that was given to me by a good astro friend of mine as a Christmas present to replace my old trusty ZWO ASI120MM which has served me well over the years. I use the camera to do a 2 pane mosaic to fit the entire Moon in a frame.

Solar Imaging Session - December 8, 2022
The sky this afternoon is partly cloudy but seeing condition is very good. I was only able to image large AR3153 Sunspot Group in white light and Ha wavelength only as I have some important matters to do. AR3153 Sunspot Group is huge in size and very photogenic in both wavelength that I took.
