Solar Imaging Session - November 7, 2010

Hello:

I was able to wake up a little early this morning and was able to start doing solar imaging right away. Sky condition was fair with some small passing clouds near the Sun's vicinity. AR11121 Sunspot Group continues to show its beauty as it continues to show lots of solar activity inside its group. A small nice dark filament can be seen arching above the group surrounded by bright white flare. Very photogenic to view and image. Several group of eruptive prominences can also be seen around the solar limb. In white light, AR 11121 Sunspot Group has a beautiful faculae region surrounding the group.

AR11120 Sunspot Group, on the other hand, is not that visible anymore in white light wavelength but still continues to show some small activity inside its core through H-Alpha wavelength.
