Solar Imaging Session - September 4, 2012 (2 Huge Hedgerow Prominences !!!)
The sky this morning is partly cloudy and seeing is not good. Ther6 from these two, 2 more large faint eruptive prominences are also visible in the NE and SE limb too. AR11560 Sunspot Group is large but is very silent in its core through Ha wavelength. Another large group, AR11564, is very active in its core as viewed through Ha, Lots of small sunspot groups litter the entire disk of the Sun today with the AR11553 Sunspot Group firing another small flare before exiting the SW limb.
Overall, it was a great session for me and I'm looking forward tomorrow to monitor both AR11560 and AR11564 (which I missed imaging because of clouds)again as well as the 2 huge hedgerow prominence.
