Lunar Imaging Session - August 10, 2019
It's almost a month already since I was able to do any astro imaging due to bad weather so when this evening is partly cloudy, I tried to break my astro jinx by imaging the Waxing Gibbous Moon through my portable Canon EOS M6 Mirrorless Camera with Borg 76ED refractor mounted on a sturdy Vixen Porta mount. Exposure of 1/160sec at ISO 200 was used.
I also experimented this session with using the dual speed focuser that is mounted on the Meade 8 inch SCT and mounted it on the Borg instead of the original 7835 helical focuser to get a better feel on the focus. Need to slide the dovetail rack to its end to balance the system :) LOL
