Solar Imaging Session - April 29, 2022
The sky this morning is clear and seeing condition is very good. AR2993 Sunspot Group has exited the NW limb leaving parts of AR2994 Sunspot Group visible near the limb. So it's almost good bye for the 2 big groups that treated all of us with great viewing and imaging since last week.
AR2995 Sunspot Group is trailing behind and is nearing the NW limb as well leaving 2 moderate size AR2990 and AR3001 Sunspot Groups as something to monitor on the solar disk. No big prominences are visible in the solar limb. Small AR2997 Sunspot Group show its presence today but erupting a small bright flare!
There are 2 huge twisting dark filaments surrounding AR2999 and AR3001 Sunspot Groups that are also a joy to view and image.
