Solar Imaging Session - April 8, 2023
The sky this afternoon is slightly hazy and seeing condition is fair. AR3270 Sunspot Group is nearing the SW limb already while AR3272 Sunspot Group is starting to grow in size a bit and has some flaring activity inside its core structure. There is a beautiful large eruptive prominence in the NE limb as well as slightly smaller but still big prominence in the SE limb. I got to use my trusty TV-101 refractor once again after a long storage in the stockroom. Good thing it is still showing good image :) I got to use it for Whitelight and Ha imaging while I use my Borg 76ED Refractor for CaK imaging as the TV-101 refractor can't reach focus in CaK wavelength.
