Solar Imaging Session - February 27, 2024
The sky this afternoon is partly cloudy and seeing condition fair. AR3590 Region is nearing the NW limb and still shows a beautiful umbra structure that is visible to the naked eye using a safe solar filter.

Solar Imaging Session - February 25, 2024
The sky this afternoon is very cloudy and seeing condition is poor. It took me more than 3.5 hours to be able to image the Sun! AR3590 sunspot main umbral core continues to grow in size. Some nice prominences can also be seen.

Solar Imaging Session - February 24, 2024
The sky this morning is partly cloudy and seeing condition is fair. AR3590 is growing in size and has a very beautiful symmetrical umbra and penumbra feature on its main sunspot group. Lots of small flaring activity can also be seen from this region. There is also a nice large hedgerow prominence visible in the Northern limb.

Solar Imaging Session - February 13, 2024
The sky before lunch is partly cloudy but seeing condition is very good. Had a bad booth with cold and cough past 3 days so I wasn't able to do any solar imaging and mostly stay in bed. Nevertheless, with AR3576 region getting close to the SW qudrant, it still shows a very beautiful sunspot group both in white light as well as Ha wavelength. the new AR3583 region is now the dominating region with also lots of sunspots and growing in size as well. AR3582 region is starting to grow in size as well. Another particularly beautiful feature on the Sun today is the Huge Faint Looped Prominence in the NE limb.
