Solar Imaging Session - February 13, 2024
The sky before lunch is partly cloudy but seeing condition is very good. Had a bad booth with cold and cough past 3 days so I wasn't able to do any solar imaging and mostly stay in bed. Nevertheless, with AR3576 region getting close to the SW qudrant, it still shows a very beautiful sunspot group both in white light as well as Ha wavelength. the new AR3583 region is now the dominating region with also lots of sunspots and growing in size as well. AR3582 region is starting to grow in size as well. Another particularly beautiful feature on the Sun today is the Huge Faint Looped Prominence in the NE limb.
