Deep Sky Imaging Session - December 12-13, 2025

The sky late evening is partly clear and I setup my Dwarf 3 Smart Scope to image M31 and M42 as practice run in preparation for upcoming deepe sky imaging session in Tanay. Unfortunately, M31 is already low in the NE horizon thus I was only able to get a measly 14 mins intergration time only before I got obstructed. I was able to get a better integration time on M42 Orion Nebula with an hour worth of exposures. Both objects were imaged using Astro Filter. I was also able to image IC434 Horsehead Nebula using ZWO ASI294 MC PRO Astro Camera on Borg 76ED Refractorwith 0.8x reducer and 42 mins of integration time before I got clouded out. Anyway, this session is more or less testing my imaging rig dry run before our upcoming session under the darker skies of Tanay.
