Solar Imaging Session - January 31, 2016 (Super Huge Faint Eruptive Prominence !!!)

The sky this morning is cloudy but as I saw some clouds openings, I got to see a huge faint SE eruptive prominence that is ejecting out of the solar limb. This is the same huge eruptive prominence that I was monitoring since yesterday but was totally clouded out. But I wasn't expecting the huge prominence to still be visible today. I had to wait for more than 1 hour praying for a small clear window for me to image it. Boy! It was worth the wait as I was able to image this super huge prominence still ejecting out of the solar limb! Initially I think it was some grain or stacking artifacts that was showing on the NE edge of this prominence. But further processing convinced me it was not noise artifacts but rather segments of this huge prominence. I think this is the biggest prominence that I had ever image in my life! Although faint, I'm still very grateful to be able to image it. Aside from this super huge prominence, AR2489 Sunspot Group is also very impressive as well as its adjacent huge dark filament.

Can I just say what a reduction to find someone who actually knows what theyre speaking about on the internet. You positively know the right way to carry a problem to gentle and make it important. More people must learn this and perceive this aspect of the story. I cant imagine youre not more well-liked because you positively have the gift. betfair online casino
