Solar Imaging Session - December 24, 2021
The sky this evening started with the good sky and seeing condition. Man! The Sun has so many sunspots groups on the Sun's disk that I had to spend lots of time and effort just to capture the bigger groups in 3 wavelengths and it also took my entire afternoon just to process them!
AR2916 and AR2818 Sunspot Groups as well as departing AR2908 and AR2907 Sunspot Groups are a joy to view and image in all 3 wavelengths!
The rest of the moderate size groups despite dull in whitelight shows lots of activities in the Ha and CaK wavelengths. Solar prominences are small for today's session. There are also 2 huge, long dark filament in the SW quadrant.
