Solar Imaging Session - December 31, 2021

The sky this morning is clear and seeing condition is good. AR 2916 Sunspot Group is nearing the SW limb but is still a joy to look at in all wavelengths. AR2918 Sunspot Group is also near the NW limb as well. The most prominent feature today is the Huge SW Eruptive Prominence that is awesome! In the afternoon, the huge eruptive prominence has ejected its shell and is ejecting out of the solar limb! Happy New Year everyone!!!
