Solar Imaging Session - April 6, 2012 (Huge Dark Filament !)

The sky this morning is hazy and seeing condition is also not that good. AR11450 Sunspot Group starts to decay a bit as continues to rotate toward the western limb accompanied by the huge dark filament. It also produce a small flare inside its core in Ha wavelength. AR11452 Sunspot Group continues to decay further while AR11453 Sunspot Group is now gone thus leaving only the 2 groups visible on the Sun's surface. A nice small FilaProm is visible in the NE limb.

Overall, a very quiet solar activity on the Sun....... I hope there will be some increase in solar activity specially on AR11450 Sunspot Group.
