Solar Imaging Session - August 29, 2022

The sky before lunchtime is clear and seeing is very good as well. AR3088 Sunspot Group wants to still show its stuff by unleashing several eruptive prominence in the SW limb as it exits. I was nevertheless still able to capture its still beautiful large faint multi- looped prominence which rival its beauty against the brighter tall eruptive prominence that is still visible in the SE limb for several days already. AR2039 Sunspot Group is also very active in flaring inside its core structure. I was also able to get all whitelight, Ha, and CaK wavelength during the session.

Solar Imaging Session - August 28, 2022

The sky this morning is very hazy and cloudy. Seeing condition is fair though. Wasted almost 1.5 hours waiting for cloud openings to image AR3088 and AR3088 Sunspot Groups in Whitelight and Ha wavelength before getting obstructed by building. I was also able to capture the SE huge eruptive prominence that I was able to capture last Aug 26th. Still big till now. AR3088 Sunspot Group is near the SW limb and shows a small nice FilaProm coming out from its core.

Solar Imaging Session - August 26, 2022

The sky this morning is partly clear with fair seeing condition. Since I need to go to work early this morning, I just make a short quickie solar imaging session to image the larger AR3088 and 3085 Sunspot Groups only as well as tee huge eruptive prominence visible in the SE limb. AR3088 Sunspot Group is beautiful in white light as well as Ha and CaK wavelength. AR3088 Sunspot Group shows very active flaring activity inside its core structure.

Solar Imaging Session - August 21, 2022

The sky this morning is cloudy and hazy. Seeing condition is poor. Despite the condition, I still proceeded to image the Sun. AR3081 Sunspot Group is the only large group on the surface of the Sun today but numerous small pore groups are visible. In Ha wavelength, AR3081 Sunspot Group is very quiet as well while AR3078 Sunspot Group is exiting the SW limb. There is also a nice large group of eruptive prominences in the NW limb. I was also able to image AR3081 Sunspot Group in CaK wavelength. As I was relying to image AR3081 Sunspot Group in whitelight, seeing went from bad to worst as I was already partly obstructed by building thus ending my solar session.

Solar Imaging Session - August 4, 2022 (Huge Eruptive Prominence!!!)

The sky this morning is cloudy and I had to do a very quickie shot of the NE huge eruptive prominence before I got clouded out!
