Solar Imaging Session - July 27, 2024

The sky this late morning is hazy and seeing condition is fair. A nice cluster of sunspots are bundled in the SE quadrant as AR3767, AR3766, AR3765, AR3764 & AR3763 regions and also has nice flaring activity in this region. AR3762 region also has a nice group of sunspots in the SW quadrant. A faint NE eruptive prominence can be seen near AR3769 region. Also a nice faint group of southern eruptive prominence can also be seen with one of the longer prominence producing a faint filaprom on it.

Solar Imaging Session - July 20, 2024

The sky this lunchtime is partly cloudy and seeing condition is fair. The Sun is peppered with many small sunspots but I only image the 2 larger groups under AR3759 and AR3751 region only both in White Light and Ha wavelength. AR3751 region shows a lot of flaring activity as well as AR3759.

Solar Imaging Session - July 11, 2024

The sky this afternoon is very hazy but seeing condition is very good! AR3738 Region has a big sunspot group and with good seeing, the sunspot group shows beautiful symmetry and nice granulation on the solar surface. Unfortunately after imaging in white light wavelength, passing clouds started to pester me and I had to shoot through thicker haze as well as clouds across the region. I'm still glad to get a decent shot of the region in Ha wavelength despite the passing clouds. It's better than no image at all. It also shows a bright flaring event ejecting out of the sunspot group.

Solar Imaging Session - July 3, 2024

the sky this afternoon is partly cloudy and seeing condition is poor. AR3733 & AR3729 Region is large in area but contains many pore sunspots. In Ha wavelength, AR3733, AR3729, AR3727, AR3728, AR3732, AR3730, AR3722 & AR3724 regions shows lots of flaring activities. There is also a large eruptive prominence in the SE limb but I had a hard time capturing it because of passing cloudy sky as well as thick haze to the point of total overcast afterwards.
