Solar Imaging Session - February 9, 2024

Happy Chinese New Year! Kong Xie Huat Chay! The whole day is mostly cloudy and dim But at around 3:00pm, there are some breaks in the clouds and I was able to get a shot of AR3576 before I got clouded out again. Seeing condition is poor this afternoon so what do you expect? :) LOL Still happy to be able to capture it even under poor seeing condition.

The sky this lunchtime is partly cloudy but seeing condition is agin very good. AR3576 Region is again very active in Ha wavelength with lots of flaring activity inside its core.

Solar Imaging Session - February 7, 2024

Im not feeling well with body ache whole body since last night due to tiredness from my work so I stayed home instead to get some rest for the day at home. I also took this opportunity despite my condition to make a quickie solar imagiong session centered on AR3576 region as well as the 2 large prominences on East and NW limb which has been very active since yesterday. AR3575 continues to grow in size and complexity as well.

The sky this lunchtime is clear and seeing condition is very good. AR3576 is getting active andits sunspot group is growing fast and getting complex. AR3575 is nearing the SW limb while AR3571 although moderate in size shows beautful symmetrical form. There are also 2 very large prominences in NW and East limb.
