Jupiter Imaging Session - May 6, 2018

Jupiter Imaging Session - May 6, 2018 The sky this evening is partly cloudy but I proceeded to try to image planet Jupiter with the Meade 8" f/10 SCT using ZWO ASI120MM webcam with 2x barlow lens and RGB filters. Seeing condition is not that good but I still proceeded after letting the scope cool down for almost 1.5 hours . The Great Red Spot is visible nearing Central Meridian, I also got to test my new Starbook-S which I locally made and it is working ok. I packed up after 3am feeling very tired but still happy that I was able to image Jupiter. I was planning to image Saturn and Mars as well but unfortunately, my Starbook-S battery run out so better luck next time.
