Comet Imaging Session - December 21, 2021 (C/2021 A1 Leonard)

The sky this early evening is very cloudy but my son and I proceeded to try to capture Comet C/2021 A1 Leonard as it is now in the evening sky but is still quite low in the SW horizon. It is almost as high as planet Venus in altitude . We were only able to see the comet coming out of the clouds almost artound 6:20pm PST. I was able to image the comet through thin passing clouds using a Canon EOS M6 mirrorless camera on Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS L lens set at 400mm f/5.6 mounted on Vixen GP-DX mount. 30sec exposure at ISO 400.
