Solar Imaging Session - April 28, 2022

The sky this morning is clear and seeing condition is very good. AR2994 and AR2993 Sunspot Groups are nearing the NW limb and most probably will see them exit the limb Ina day or two max. AR2995 Sunspot Group is also quiet like AR2994 and AR2993 Sunspot Groups. There are 2 huge hedgerow prominences in the NE and SE limb. The rest of the sunspot groups are small to moderate.

Solar Imaging Session - April 27, 2022

The sky this morning is partly cloudy and seeing condition is fair. AR2994 and AR2993 Sunspot Groups are nearing the NW limb and is quiet. AR2995 Sunspot Group gas some twisting dark filaments surrounding the group. AR3000 and AR3001 is quietly entering into the solar surface. Small possible AR3002 and Ar3003 Sunspot Groups shows bright flaring on its core. There are 3 huge prominences visible on the solar limb. I was able to image both 3 wavelengths this morning.

Solar Imaging Session - April 26, 2022

The sky this morning is partly cloudy and hazy. Seeing condition is fair. AR2993 and AR2994 Sunspot Groups are nearing the NW limb and still produces some flaring activities inside their structures. AR2995 and AR2996 Sunspot Groups are active with surrounding twisted dark filaments with AR2996 Sunspot Group showing some flaring activity beside the main core. Incoming AR2989 Sunspot Group is quiet. There are some moderate prominences visible around the solar limb but I got clouded out and I have to also leave for work early today thus I had to end the session. I wasnt able to image in CaK wavelength as well as capture some prominences in Ha wavelength due to clouds.

Sunset Imaging Session - April 24, 2022

My family were invited to a birthday party in SM Mall of Asia this afternoon so my son KC and I took this opportunity to also image the Sun setting in the western horizon. I use a Canon EOS M6 Mirrorless camera with Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS L lens set at 400mm f/16 with 1/4000sec exposure at ISO 100. We were also able to see AR2996, 2995, 2994 and 2993 without any filtration.
