The sky this morning is clear and seeing condition is good. Bidding AR2835 Sunspot a group good bye as it is exiting the SW limb already. New AR2840 Sunspot a group is visible in the NAW quadrant while remnant of AR2827 Sunspot Group is still visible in Ha wavelength. AR2839 Sunspot Group is decaying as well. There is a beautiful large eruptive prominence visible in the NE limb while there is also a nice large looped prominence beside AR2835 Sunspot Group.

Solar Imaging Session - July 5, 2021
I wasn't expecting to image the Sun this morning as weather prediction for this week is cloudy and rain. But the sky was clear this morning to my surprise so I quickly make a quick solar imaging session before going to work. The sky despite clear has a fair seeing condition only as I suspect Taal Volcano S02 smog continue to affect the seeing condition. But I'm still glad to image. AR2835 Sunspot Group is nearing the SW limb with AR2836 Sunspot Group totally decayed and can only be seen in Ha and CaK wavelengths. AR2835 Sunspot Group is beautiful in Ha with nice flaring activity as well as presence of some Ellerman Bombs on the main core structure. There is also a new AR2829 Sunspot Group visible in the NE quadrant. Although small but I think it will still grow a bit in the days to come and will replace AR2835 as the group to watch this week. AR2837 Sunspot Group has also decayed almost totally.
Seeing worsens more when I was about to image in CaK light. But as they say, you should be happy you got to image today despite the odds :) LOL

Solar Imaging Session - July 2, 2021
The sky this morning is again hazy and seeing condition is even worse as I had a hard time locking in on focus as image is buttery. Nevertheless, I still manage to capture AR2835, 2836 and 2837 Sunspot Groups in white light, Ha only. Attempt to image in CaK but had to forgo as I can't lock into focus probably brought about by the Taal Volcano Eruption smog spewing S02 gas again perhaps thus the hazy condition. Hopefully tomorrow I can get a better imaging session.

Solar Imaging Session - July 1, 2021
The sky this morning is slightly hazy and seeing condition is fair. AR2835 Sunspot Group continues to grow but there is some decaying on the umbral part of the main structure. AR2826 Sunspot Group is decaying fast while AR2827 Sunspot Group is stable. The NE large faint eruptive prominence is starting to collapse back to the limb.
I was also able to test out the Lunt CaK module filter that I was able to borrow from my friend to test it out. Today's session is better than my 1st experience with this filter which was very poor because of wrong configurations of my setup. I hope I would be able to get good results with my solar setup configurations in the days to come but my results today is promising.
