Solar Imaging Session - May 24, 2022

The sky this morning is again very cloudy and hazy while seeing conditionis fair. I was able to image AR3014 and AR3015 Sunspot Groups in white light wavelength as well as a single shot of AR3014 Sunspot Group in Ha wavelength before I get totally clouded out :( AR3014 Sunspot Group is starting to undergo Wilson Effect as it nears the limb thus its shows a slightly squeeze image in its length. AR3017 Sunspot Group, on the other hand, is starting to develop a nice moderate size umbra and penumbra core structure. As I was starting to image AR3014 Sunspot Group in Ha wavelength, clouds started to cover up the Sun and seeing condition drops to poor and shows wobble effect while I was imaging before I got totally clouded out :( Since I have to go to work, I wasn't able to find more time to wait for they sky to open up again.

Solar Imaging Session - May 23, 2022

The sky this morning is very cloudy but seeing is fair. AR3014 Sunspot Group is starting to shrink a little due to slight Wilson Effect but the group is still very complex in structure while in Ha wavelength, I can see a small flaring activity on the front main core structure. I also run out of time to wait for CaK line as already late for work.

Solar Imaging Session - May 22, 2022

The sky this morning is cloudy and very hazy but the early part of my session shows surprisingly good seeing condition and only deteriorated when I'm imaging the limb prominences period as thin passing clouds tends to make the contrast of the prominences poor but I was still able to get some large ones despite the poor seeing condition at the end of my session. I was also able to get a full disk white light image through passing clouds :( I was also able to get some decent shots of AR3014 Sunspot Group in all 3 wavelength. AR 3017 Sunspot Group shows a chain of long beads of pore sunspot regions.

Solar Imaging Session - May 19, 2022

The sky this morning is very cloudy but seeing condition is surprisingly good. With lots of passing clouds hovering on the Sun, I had to sacrifice a bit by using a smaller ROI to get a faster FPS so can get as many frames through the passing clouds in white light wavelength thus I was only to image AR3014 Sunspot Group. In Ha wavelength, I was only able to get 2 AVIs of AR3014 and AR3015 Sunspot Groups before I got totally clouded out.

Solar Imaging Session - May 18, 2022

The sky this morning is partly cloudy and its been past 5 days since my last imaging session. AR3014 Sunspot Group is the biggest group on the Sun's disk today. Also near the group is another moderate size AR3014 Sunspot Group. There is also a moderate size AR3016 Sunspot Group that has a potential to grow bigger in the days to come. AR3007 Sunspot Group is decaying fast and is also nearing the SW limb. There are also several small sunspot groups on the disk. I was only able to get some shots of the mentioned groups in white light wavelength and manage only to capture AR3014 and AR3015 Sunspot Groups in Ha wavelength before I got totally clouded out.

Solar Imaging Session - May 13, 2022

The sky this morning is clear and seeing condition is very good. AR3007 Sunspot Group has increase its area and size while AR3006 Sunspot Group is still very quiet. Yesterday's SW hedgerow prominence is still visible while another new large eruptive prominence can be seen also in the NW limb.
