Solar Imaging Session - July 18, 2026

The sky this afternoon is clear and seeing condition is very good. AR4489 Region is stable and quiet in terms of size with another small AR4491 Region that is trailing behind the bigger AR4489 Region. In Ha wavelength, AR4489 Region have 2 small, bright dot flares beside the main group and also a beautiful twisting dark filament on the same field of view to make it photogenic to image and view. There is also a nice SE floating prominence near small AR4491 Region as well. A very quiet Sun indeed.
