Solar Imaging Session - July 6, 2026

The sky this morning is clear and seeing condition is good. AR4479 Region is almost on the NW limb already while AR4478 Region is also near the western limb as well. AR4482 Region continues to grow in size as it starts to exit the Wilson Effect from the SE limb. In Ha wavelength, AR4479 Region still want to show off its performance before it exits by spewing out another nice small FilaProm on the limb. AR4478, despite its all too quiet activity past several days , finally erupted with an initial moderate size Ejection FilaProm when I image it at around 00:34 UT (08:34 PST) and further stretch to its maximum height at around 01:00 UT (09:00 PST) before it started to collapse back slowly to the limb. Overall, another exciting session indeed!
